JarsMaster operates on the principle "Your data belongs to you". We collect only the minimum information necessary for the app to function:
- Account Information (Optional): When you enable Cloud Sync, we use your Google Account (Google Sign-In) for authentication. We only store your User ID and Email to identify your data on the system.
- Financial Data: Transaction records, jar balances (NECC, PLAY, FFA, etc.), and asset/liability data. This data is stored locally on your device and is only uploaded to our secure Cloud server if you *actively* enable synchronization.
- Usage Data: Anonymous information about how you use the app (e.g., frequency of opening the app, crash reports) via Google Firebase Analytics to help us improve product quality.
- Advertising Identifiers: If you use the free version, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads (unless you have disabled this in your device settings).
2. How We Use Data
We use the collected information to:
- Provide core features: Expense management using the 6 Jars Method.
- Synchronize data across your devices (if enabled).
- Provide intelligent financial analysis (via integrated AI).
- Detect and fix application errors.
We DO NOT sell your personal data to any third parties.
3. Device Permissions
To function fully, JarsMaster may request access to:
- Internet: To synchronize data and download resources (Themes, updates).
- Biometrics (Fingerprint/FaceID): To provide the secure App Lock feature. Biometric data is processed only by the OS and we never store it.
- Storage: To export Excel/JSON reports or save screenshots upon your request.
4. Data Security
We apply strict security standards:
- All data transmitted between your device and Cloud servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.
- Data on Cloud servers (Google Firebase) is protected by strict Security Rules, ensuring only you have access to your data.
- PIN codes and security settings are stored securely on your device.
5. Third-Party Services
The application uses trusted third-party services for operation:
- Google Firebase: User authentication, database storage, and crash analytics.
- Google AdMob: Ad serving (in the free version).
- Google Gemini AI: Supports financial data analysis (data sent is valid for the session only and used strictly for analysis).
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access & Edit: You can view and modify all financial data directly within the app.
- Delete Account: You can request permanent deletion of your account and all related data at any time via "Settings > Account > Delete Account" in the app.
- Disable Sync: You can choose to use the app in Offline Mode (Data stored only on device).
